General Responsibilities

  • Apart from this, the Upazila Nirvila Officers observe the following responsibilities:

    Protecting the law and order in the upazila
    Administrative all cooperation.
    Receipt and settlement of land management charges
    National and local electoral cooperation
    Hat-market lease payments.
    Ponds and water bodies lease.
    General certificate court management.
    Coordination of activities of NGOs.
    Monitoring and coordination of development activities of different departments.
    Manage disaster management and relief activities.
    Acceptance and disposal of various educational institutions.
    Accepting, hearing and settlement of various social issues.
    Support for various social problems, child marriage prevention, drug control, corruption prevention.
    Apart from this, service related services are available from different departments of the council and can be contacted with the upazila nirbahi officer if necessary.
